This latest version in the OPTIMA series results a truly revolutionary hand-held cutting machine. Already over 1000 units sold of previous version the new 2019 model grant a highest level in technology ever reached before for a cutting tool of such a small size. Within small size and weight this model OPTIMA 703 reaches a power of 150 Watt which combined with a bonze and high resistance steel gear coupling allows an impressive cutting torque. RPM is now 1500 for ultra fast cut. OPTIMA 703 is able to cut any kind of soft material up to 18mm thickness. It is for this reason which is widely applied in textile, technical fabrics and composite material. The high torque allows to cut also rubber or plastic base material in the field of carpets and flooring. The motor housing is now PTFE coated for heat reducing with an aggressive “look”. The steel foot being strong and of small dimension allows a very precise and easy cut of straight or curve sections. The push button sharpening stone allows the sharpening of the knife edge to be done in less than 10 seconds without removing the knife. The new circuit board includes a glass fuse which can be easily replaced without disassembling the shear and the new rare fixed protection is in transparent plastic to give better visibility during cutting operation.
